Pomona – The Orchard Tapestry

This tapestry is from an original by English artist and designer William Morris, and his associate Henry Dearle. William Morris (1834-1896) is well-known as the founder of the firm of Morris & Company, whose workshops became established at Merton Abbey in Surrey.
