Les Jardins Versailles

A late 17th Century style tapestry featuring the ornamental gardens – Les Jardins Versailles – and the Palace of Versailles tapestries. This magnificent tapestry is inspired from a design named Autumn by the renowned tapestry designer Charles Le Brun, originally woven at the Royal Goblins Manufactory in Paris, and now at the Mobilier National. The central theme is the ornamental gardens of the famous Palace of Versailles in France. Wonderful border.

This beautiful tapestry is woven on a jacquard loom by skilled weavers, keeping alive the centuries old tradition of tapestry manufacturing from generation to generation. This tapestry is fully lined incorporating a sleeve along the top for hanging with a Fleur de Lys hanging rod. Alternatively, this tapestry can be hung with a wooden batten which is a concealed method of hanging.
